Popular culture is unavoidable and often infuriating, and it is also a way of relating to people, communicating ideas and having fun.
We are taught that consuming pop culture is an escape and something to feel guilty about and that we should avoid it, but let’s talk about consuming it with an anarchist lens and the interesting things that can come from that. How can we use pop culture to communicate our ideas and relate to each other through creating new media like memes, fan fiction and radical fandoms. Come share your favourite radical interpretations and fandoms band watch some stuff with us.
