Faggots, Forests, and Surveillance: Homophobic Policing in the So-Called Province of Quebec (2007-Present)
This talk will catalogue, detail, and analyze the repressive state tactics currently being used to eradicate queer uses of public space in the so-called province of Quebec. We’ll take a close look at police documents obtained by filing access to information requests and listen to the heart-breaking testimonies of queer men arrested or ticketed while cruising.
