Announcing the 2026 Tsí Tkarón:to’ Anarchist Bookfair: a gathering place for anarchists and our friends to come together and share ideas, build relationships, and rekindle the spirit of anarchy in so-called Toronto! Join us on October 17th, 11AM – 5PM at United Steelworkers Hall (25 Cecil Street) to explore anti-authoritarian literature, make friends, learn new skills, and take part in the effort to build a diverse anarchist ecosystem that can resist and replace the monocultures of capitalism and colonialism imposed upon this land. There is a place here for everyone who stands against domination—from anarcho-curious teens just starting to get involved, to those who have carried the black flag for decades.

Accessibility:
Location: The event will be held at United Steelworkers Hall, 25 Cecil St, so-called Toronto, which is about 100 m south of College St and 25 m west of Beverley St.
Transit: The closest public transit options are the 506 Streetcar on College Street (Beverley Street stop) and the 510 Streetcar on Spadina Avenue (Nassau Street stop). The closest subway station is Queens Park Station (College Street and University Avenue) ~1km away.
Wheelchair access: Most rooms in the venue, including the main hall where the event will be held, are wheelchair accessible; however, it is unfortunately not accessible to e-scooters.
COVID safety: All participants are asked to wear a well-fitted KN95/N95 mask when not eating or drinking. Free KN95/N95 masks will be provided. Please remember that we share a responsibility to keep ourselves and our communities safe, including from COVID and other infectious diseases. The venue will additionally have multiple HEPA air purifiers thanks to the Safe Air Collective!
Surveillance: We ask everyone to leave smart glasses and similar surveillance tech at home, and to not film, photograph, or record anyone without their explicit and informed consent. Any attendees that repeatedly violate this rule will be *very firmly* told to leave.
Food: A free vegan meal will be provided between 1 PM – 2 PM by the Tsí Tkarón:to’ Food Not Bombs Federation (https://tfnb.ca/). Coffee and snacks will be available throughout the day.
Washrooms: the venue has a wheelchair-accessible gender neutral washroom, as well as multiple gendered washrooms.
