None of this was supposed to happen. All of us at TransCanada along with our business and community partners have been working around the clock to get the Napanee Generating Station, Ontario’s newest gas-fired power plant up and running as soon as possible. You see, this project has been plagued by scandal since day one, originally planned as two separate facilities in Mississauga and Oakville.
